Our People
Don Biermann, CPA
Don is the President of Biermann Straatmann P.C. and manages the Washington office. He has over 49 years of experience in public and private accounting, providing a range of services to a diversified client base. He specializes in financial management and tax planning for small to medium-sized businesses and their owners.
Don earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Missouri Society of CPA’s.
Don and his wife Mary reside in the Krakow area. They have three children and nine grandchildren. In his free time, Don enjoys spending time spoiling his grandkids and giving back to the community through various civic organizations. He also enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.

Doug Straatmann, CPA
Doug is the Vice President of Biermann Straatmann P.C. and manages the Pacific office. He has over 36 years of experience in public accounting, providing quality service to a wide range of clients. He specializes in tax compliance and planning for small businesses, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations.
Doug earned his Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Missouri Society of CPA’s.
Doug and his wife Ann reside in the Beaufort area with their two boys. When Doug is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, camping, and hunting.

Our History
Don Biermann and Doug Straatmann merged their Certified Public Accounting Firms effective January 1, 2019.
Don started Biermann CPA Firm in 1988. Doug started Straatmann CPA Firm in 1998.
Our Credentials
Don graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1977. Don became a CPA in February 1983.
Doug graduated from Missouri State University in 1990. Doug became a CPA in January of 1995.
